Ilse works in PwC's Sustainability and Climate Change team in Brussels and has been with PwC for more than 15 years. As publicly certified auditor, she is the financial auditor for the Belgian entities of several worldwide groups, such as Danone and Heinz groups. Living in a more and more complex world, Ilse is convinced that financial figures don't tell the full story.  She strongly supports the idea of sustainability reporting and preferably even integrated reporting. Ilse's team has issued several assurance reports over the last years, amongst which UCB, Umicore, NMBS, and also on the Port of Antwerp. Further focus lies on sustainability-related strategy development, assisting companies to develop sustainability-related reporting frameworks, systems, processes as well as KPIs and targets.
